My dad is 88 years old now.
Yesterday, we went to the hospital for an annual regular checkup of his stomach cancer that he had been diagnosed for more than two years and treated with radiation therapy.
The result was “completely recovered.”
He had an endoscopy a week ago. and a part of tissue was taken.
The female doctor was explaining that the taken area used to be the cancer and completely disappeared checking by her eyes and the data showed.
The cancer is “MALT lymphoma, which is one of “righter” mild types as compared with such serious ones as scirrhous cancer.
(The very first diagnosing young male doctor called “MALT lymphoma,” “Pretty baby” lol)
